Inventory Control

< Training kept the waist down about 5%. By work with the operator to

set up machine efficiently, to not run jobs that are not ready to go,

(no unneeded changing).

< Quality control kept the cost of re-running jobs which is the only way

to remain profitable.

< Working with venders kept the cost of UV varnish down from $3.50 per

pound to $3.05 per pound. We used between 800 to 1000 pounds a month.

< Working with the same vender I decreased the cost of my CMYK UV inks

from $10.95 to $10.50 per pound. We used between 400 to 520 pounds per

month. I also learned how to mix inks from CMYK inks to save money.

< I mix when possible my spot colors which saved $7.50 per pound. My

spot color inks weight was about 200 to 240 pounds per month.

< Working with my stock vender I kept my down about $4000 per month, the

methods I used were ordering early, keeping my ordering to a regular

time of the month, and all way making time for their salesman.

< I kept repair cost by learning how to do maintain on equipment, which

save the company $15,000 per year minimum.

< I ordered packaging supplies in bulk that lowered the cost as per the

vendor grid pricing and I work on getting the company below the grid

pricing. This saved the cost of packaging $9000 per year.

< Beta tested, distributed, and trained employees on a custom Microsoft

Access-based program.
