ACADEMIC PROJECT:

TITLE:

“ GPS BASED ROUTING MECHANISM IN EMBEDDED SYSTEM ”

DESCRIPTION:

This project is used to save the fisherman’s life from the cross border arrest. It consist of PIC

micro controller and GPS. By using GPS, latitude and longitude values of nearest harbor will

be fixed in PIC. When the fisherman coming near to that fixed value, that is before 1 km to

the border, will be indicated to the fisherman through alarm and GSM is used as

communication medium. This is cost effective and less power consumption. We started our

project on August 2011 and completed by

March 2012.
