ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Oxygen Fire Mitigation System- As part of an interdisciplinary team,

designed, built and tested a prototype to mitigate burns caused by

cigarette smoking while patients are receiving oxygen from an oxygen

concentrator.

System included:

An infrared sensor to detect the flame, a shut off valve to stop oxygen

flow, and an alarm system which activates when the flame is detected.

SKILLS

Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, LabView, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and

Matlab.
