RESUME

Mini project: Home Automation

Main Project: GSM based Android robot for LPG gas detection

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

‘GSM BASED ANDROID ROBOT FOR LPG GAS DETECTION’

The objective of this project is to control the robot using android application to detect the leakage of gas inside the tunnel.

The project consists of transmitter section and the receiver section. The transmitter section consists of android application

based mobile phone. The receiver section is the robot where the micro controller, gas detecting sensor, wireless camera,

Bluetooth, GSM module and the buzzer are embedded. The movement of the robot is fully controlled by the transmitter

section. The gas sensor MQ7 is used to sense the presence of gas in the place where gas is leaking. The wireless camera is used

to capture the picture of the part where gas is leaking. The Bluetooth and the GSM module are used as the communication

medium to get the information about the current situation. And the buzzer is used to produce alarm warning sound when the

presence of gas is detected.
