PROJECT /SEMINARS:

> Worked on project (Load Balancing Through Process Migration) for

(Image Processing System) based on Java technology.

Objective: To architect a framework in Java that enables process

migration and uses that framework to execute load balancing in

grid.

Details:. A process is an operating system abstraction representing

an instance of a running computer program. Process migration is the

act of transferring a process between two machines during its

execution.

Here the process migration basically deals with migration of

process code and its state from one system to another.

Grid is a kind of distributed system used for high performance

computations. Following are the main features of grid environment.
