Career Objective : store manager with national chain

I am career-oriented retail professional with desire to move to next level

of management.

Motivated to learn new retail procedures and practice to drive sales and

execute store directive. My previous employment demonstrates managerial

responsibilities and senior levels of accountability with several food

service retailers. I bring dedication and enthusiasm to the work place and

have experience managing and supervising staff.

Experience: Solid experience in food service industry and grocery

operations.

Kitchen manager of three national restaurants chains.

Prepared weekly staff schedules, forecasted labor cost and conducted staff

training.

Placed orders inventories and was primary contact for distributors.As the

kitchen manager came up with a plan to have the employees weigh out what

was not used so we would know how much waste we were having on a weekly

basis.So we would know what to cut back on.

Managed warehouse : schedule deliveries for drivers and monitored product

movement.

Check in product with invoices comming in and going out for delivery. Put

together light fixture packs for residential construction, was the primary

contact for vendors and customers. As the warehouse manager came up with a

plan to track inventory better having driver check in product with foreman

on the jobsite so they would sign off on it.

Safeway seafood manager : Prepare case for daily sales, order product for

the department, check in daily deliveries,temperature logs and tare logs

daily. I would do a daily o.o.s.count and a monthly inventory, Schedule

seafood staff .As Seafood manager I have brought my shrink down from a

quartile 4 to a quartile 2 with in 6 months eliminating wasteful spending

and better order wrighting .
