Profile: I have well over 9 years of work experience all with which have
included hard physical work. I believe a strong work ethic as well as
dedication will lead to success. Facing many challenges has allowed me to
overcome adversity to get the job done.
Goal: In these tough economic times I am looking for an opportunity to
begin a long term relationship with a reputable company where my hard work
and integrity can become a valuable asset.
Work Experience:
. On Site Specialist November 2013- Current
Accurate Installations
Continued into this trade and obtained all troubleshooting
skills, and mastered the trade. Never an issue getting the
pallet rack installed and torn down. I could nearly do this
job alone. Being a certified forklift operator is just an
icing on the cake regarding this job. Very capable of heavy
lifting, and awkward working situations.
. On Site Specialist May 2008- November 2013 Patriot
Installations
Most current skill obtained was here at Patriot Installations.
The job required me to unpack and stage all equipment used for
the installation of warehouse racks. Businesses maintain their
stock and inventory upon these racks. The racks consist of very
large and heavy uprights and beams which connect 2 uprights and
continue the rundown that follow our blueprints from the client.
The work is often strenuous as we are sometimes 20+ feet high
along with heavy materials. I was very accurate at this work and
very capable.
. Field Manager September 2006- May 2008 The Contents
Company
Responsible for restoration process as well as becoming a leader
within the business to take the position as field manager.
Managing many jobs which specialized in the restoration of
restaurants but also cleaned up and rebuilt small businesses and
homes. Duties also included setting up meetings with every known
insurance agency to coordinate and complete the restoration of
any and all types of insurance claims. From the removal of
burned building materials to the removal of flooded water
damaged goods by way of large truck (26 foot), sometimes using
Penske for rentals, to the complete rebuilding of restaurants to
meet the current Health and Safety Code standards. Completing
the day with a listing of all materials and supplies used, to
tracking hours of every specific job and project. Very familiar
with restaurant equipment due to the cleaning and sanitizing
process prior to returning to a clean and restored restaurant.
Also maintained the stock of tools and materials needed for
jobs. Also used all types of warehouse type tools such as
forklifts, pallet jacks, four-wheel dollies as well as loading
and unloading trucks as this business also put household
contents into storage vaults.
. On Site Specialist June 2006- September 2006 Graebel Van
Lines
Started as General Labor and continued to work as such the
entire time at business. Hard physical work, helped out local
drivers in the relocation business. Would start typical job by
either meeting van line drivers at location of move, or meeting
them at the dispatch yard and driving with them to the location.
Once at the location proceeded to wrap all furniture with
protective covers and safely load onto a diesel trailer for long
haul trips. Moving anything and everything from any type of
household to complete the relocation process. Also meet drivers
to unload and reset the entire household, usually to the
homeowners specifications. Experienced as well in the loading of
storage vaults, as some owners property would be put in storage.
. Electrician January 2006- June 2006 A.B.C. So Cal
Was accepted into an apprenticeship program working as an entry
level electrician for prevailing wage work at University
California Santa Barbara, Santa Ana Elementary School as well as
multiple schools in Hesperia installing conduit, running wire,
putting up seismic supports, light fixtures, vault work, running
scissor lifts and other heavy machinery. Very hard work,
enduring and tedious.
