• Providing WiMax and TD-LTE related Technical Assistance to Clearwire customers nationwide.

Problem detection, log analysis, bug reporting and resolution in collaboration with engineering

team. Firmware and software upgrades, grow and degrow profiles and sites from LTE System

Manager (LSM) as well as Wimax System manager (WSM) and log collection from Radio

heads(RRH).

• Providing technical support to the field engineers during migration of legacy sites for Sprint

network for Sprint NV project. This includes troubleshooting for network optimization of 1X and

EVDO. Performing maintenance window activities related to upgrades, neighbor application, and

parameter changes. Analysis of CDL (Call Data Logs), Performance Management (PM) and Call

Final Class (CFC).

• Monitor and troubleshoot TDM/Ethernet backhaul issues for mobile wireless routers (Cisco ASR

901) for Sprint Network. Troubleshooting for congestion and packet drops issues on T1s. Backhaul

analysis of misconfigured Cisco routers and correct the configuration to mitigate the packet drops.

Work closely with Cisco for ASR901 upgrades and ASR9K module upgrades from time to time.

• Support and troubleshooting for Verizon network extenders called Ubicells. F/W and S/W upgrades

on ubicells across the nation in the maintenance window. Troubleshooting of customer’s ticket

regarding call drop or handoff issues on ubicells.

RELEVENT PROJECTS:

• Design and simulation of Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) using resonance frequency

method: Designed and simulated TPMS using wheel speed based tire pressure monitoring system i.e.

indirect TPMS. In this project non-uniform sampling wavelet transform was used. This is the most

efficient method to measure and to monitor the tire pressure of automobiles. Matlab was used for all the

programming and simulations.

• Designing of 8-bit CRC module to check the error in wireless communication systems: Developed

VHDL code for the CRC-8 hardware. This includes the code for sender, receiver and memory module.

This coding was done in modelsim.

• Analysis of Multicarrier DS-CDMA and its performance in Multipath Fading channels:

Analyzed different types of code-division multiple access schemes i.e. single-carrier direct sequence

CDMA (SC DS-CDMA), multicarrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) and multicarrier DS-CDMA (MC DS-

CDMA). Furthermore, downlink performance of MC-CDMA and multicarrier DS-CDMA was evaluated.

• Overview of LTE (Long Term Evolution): A brief overview of the latest wireless technology being

utilized in wireless communication was presented. Basic transmission scheme, transmission bandwidth and

multi antenna transmission in LTE was presented.
