MAIN PROJECT : Detection of Malicious nodes in MANET (Mobile ad-hoc

Network)

. Status : Completed.

. Platform : Ns3, Visual studio.

. Objectives : Mobile ad-hoc network (MANETs) is a collection of mobile

computing devices that cooperatively communicative with each other

without any pre-established infrastructures such as a centralized access

point. Nodes in MANET are required to relay data packets for other

nodes. However, whether for selfish or malicious purpose, a node may

refuse to cooperate during the network operation or even attempt to

interrupt them, both of which are recognized as misbehaviors. In this

proposed system using a quantitative method to detect misbehaviors in

MANETs with mobile nodes. This method is a behavioral anomaly based

system which makes it dynamic, scalable, configurable and robust.

MINI PROJECT : Data Fetching Application in Android.

. Status : Completed.

. Platform : Android.

. Database : Mysql.

. Objectives : This application is based on SMS service and it discovers

operations in his mobile even if mobile is very far from him. User can

fetch contact number that is stored in the contact list, retrieve device

location by sending a single text message in a specific format.

Academic Seminars

SEMINAR : Comparative Handover Performance Analysis of IPv6 Mobility

Management Protocols.

. Status : Completed.

. Platform : NS2.

. Objectives : IPv6 mobility management is one of the most challenging

research topics for enabling mobility service in the forthcoming mobile

wireless ecosystems. Mobile IPv6 and its extensions such as Fast Mobile

IPv6 and Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 have been developed as host based

mobility management protocols. While the host based mobility management

protocols were being enhanced, the network based mobility management

protocols such as Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) and Fast Proxy Mobile IPv6

(FPMIPv6) have been standardized. Analyze and compare existing IPv6

mobility management protocols including the recently standardized PMIPv6

and FPMIPv6. Identify each IPv6 mobility management protocol's

characteristics and performance indicators by examining handover

operations. Then, analyze the performance of the IPv6 mobility

management protocols in terms of handover latency, handover blocking

probability and packet loss.
