Re: Estimator (Masonry)

Dear Sir:

I have come across your job advertisement via my subscription with Jobvertise.com and I am so much

interested with the position as an Estimator (Masonry). I am a new immigrant to Canada and coming from

a background in an engineering consultancy overseas I do believe that I will be able to work effectively in

your construction team.

Although I have a less than one year experience in construction estimate, the Engineering degree I have

completed, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Evaluated by University of Toronto CES-

Comparative Education Service as comparable to a three-year Diploma, in Civil Engineering) will provide

me the background to develop my Engineering skills for the proposed position. I also have an overseas

engineering consultancy background that will provide me more knowledge in interpreting specifications,

construction drawings and blue print reading. I have also experience in costing time and cost

management.

I will be very much willing to provide my practical skills in construction estimate should you give me the

chance to start with your team. I am also interested for further training that will match your job

expectation and provide the best knowledge for the job.

I am available for interview at your earliest convenience. Thank you very much for considering me as an

applicant for the above job. I look forward to hear from you.

Sincerely,

REGINA CORPUZ
