Maintenance, repair and start up of heating
and air conditioning equipment. Most
of my work here was service calls; trouble shooting and
repair on a variety of air handlers, boilers,
roof top units and Liebert units. I also did
some start up and warranty work at Roosevelt University,
Admiral on the Lake and Park Monroe.
May 2006 to May 2011: Admiral Mechanical Services, Hillside, IL.
Maintenance and repair of heating and air
conditioning equipment. I serviced Liebert
Mini Mate, Challenger and System 3 computer
room units, air cooled, water cooled and dry
coolers, as well as a variety of roof top
units. I was assigned to a mid rise office
building in Oak Park that has a steam boiler,
an air cooled York chiller (pre Millennium),
two air handlers with supply and return fans,
steam and chilled water coils, a steam to hot
water heat exchanger, several different B+G
pumps, air compressors and pneumatic controls,
as well as the domestic hot water system. I
was also assigned to several Chase banks in
Winnetka, Glenview, Northbrook and Evanston on
a wide variety of different equipment.
MAY 2004 TO MAY 2006: TRIANGLE MECHANICAL SERVICES, WEST CHICAGO,
IL.
Maintenance and repair of heating and air
conditioning equipment. Most
the work here was roof top equipment, packaged and split
systems and Intelipaks. I also serviced
accounts at Edwards Hospital, Deerfield Public
School District 109 and Highland Park School
District 112.
MARCH 2002 TO APRIL 2004: HAYES BOILER AND MECHANICAL, CHICAGO, IL
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF HEATING AND AIR
CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT. MOST OF THE WORK WAS
WITH OLDER BOILERS. I WORKED ON ONE AND TWO
PIPE STEAM AND HOT WATER SYSTEMS. MY
EXPERIENCE INCLUDED BOTH COMMERCIAL AND
RESIDENTIAL ACCOUNTS, INCLUDING HIGH-RISE WORK.
SEPTEMBER 1992 TO MARCH 2002: ADVANCE MECHANICAL SYSTEMS, MT. PROSPECT,
IL
MAINTENANCE, INSTALLATION AND REPAIR OF HEATING
AND AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT. FOR MY INITIAL
YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT I WAS STATIONED AT O'HARE
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. I WORKED ON MEDIUM
TEMPERATURE WALK-IN COOLERS AND LOW TEMPERATURE
WALK-IN FREEZERS. I WAS ALSO STATIONED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO AT SPIEGEL, INCORPORATED.
FOR NEARLY TWO YEARS, I MAINTAINED AND
REPAIRED A TOTAL OF 10 STEAM BOILERS WITH
VACUUM CONDENSATE RETURN IN TWO LOCATIONS.
DURING THE SUMMER I MAINTAINED AND REPAIRED
VARIOUS AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT. I WORKED
ON LEIBERT COMPUTER ROOM UNITS, AIR HANDLERS,
BOILERS AND CHILLERS. I ALSO TOOK PART IN
CONSTRUCTION PIPEFITTING, INSTALLATION, AND
START UP. IN ADDITION, I ATTENDED SEVERAL
CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES ON BELL AND
GOSSETT EQUIPMENT AT BORNQUIST WHILE EMPLOYED
HERE.
JUNE 1989 TO SEPTEMBER 1992: INLAND MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS, BENSENVILLE, IL
I BEGAN MY EXPERIENCE AS A SERVICE TECHNICIAN
HERE. AS AN ASSISTANT, I RECEIVED ON THE JOB
