PDR BRIEF is a PDR service that delivers an important set of drug-specific
concise messages, which are known as "BRIEFS". These messages are intended
to provide critical drug safety information, as well as patient and
provider resources, within a provider's regular EHR workflow. The messages
are either regulatory/liability protection in nature, assist in prescriber
workflow or improve patient access to the drug. The PDR BRIEF for a given
drug is surfaced automatically in the EHR or ePrescribing software when a
drug is selected. PDR Brief Applications are external windows client or web
based applications, which send post requests to E-Care Web Service. E-Care
web service differentiates requests from PDR Brief from other applications
by checking the application ID (contains" +BRIEF"). The web service
requests are in xml format whereas the response could be in XML, JSON or
HTML formats.

PDR PLUS is a PDR service that provides patient drug education and reminder
service designed to fulfill key requirements of EHR Meaningful Use 2 while
improving medication adherence and patient satisfaction. PDR functionality
will be exposed as a set of web services that will require EHR partner
applications to provide certain parameters as part of the request. It will
be returned a set of related drug information and associated content types.
EHRs must provide this patient education capability in order to be
certified by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information
Technology (ONC). The capability must be info button-enabled. An info
button, which appears in the EHR as a small button or icon is a healthcare
informatics interoperability standard that makes relevant information
immediately available to physicians within workflow. In order to obtain
federal EHR incentives, physicians must distribute clinically relevant
education and reminders to a minimum of 10 percent of their active patients
and use secure messaging communicate.

developed for managing digital X-Ray images. It is the central processing
zone using which Patient information, X-Ray images, Physician's comments

images are scheduled and managed. After the exposure, the images are shared
with other physicians for various discussions and remarks/focus is made on
the images itself for further reference.CS-7 supports high demand features

basic logic is First-In-First-Out Method used to calculate Total Wastage of
