Major accomplishment: Improved HPF system performance from unplanned system cycles
several times a month, and handled numerous support calls during off-call hours using deliberate
observations, measurements and planned improvements. The end result being a system that only
has planned maintenance down time and perhaps one or two support calls per month.
Diagnosed multiple infrastructure problems that have impacted my areas of accountability.
Assisted other areas to diagnose and identify the root problems. The appropriate infrastructure
groups were able to apply the necessary hardware, software, and microcode modifications to
resolve the problems. This in turn not only resolved issues with my accountabilities but other
business systems as well.
Awards: HealthEast’s “One of Our Best” awards for going above and beyond and
positively demonstrating HealthEast’s Core Behaviors. This simply means that I
would not give up on a problem until it was fully resolved and the user
community could depend on the results.
