. Lead the team in Installation, configuration and maintenance of
Cisco and Juniper routers, layer 2 switches, optical transport
DWDM equipments such as ECI XDM 1000, Marconi MSH80\83\84\86,
MSH63\64, Infinera DTN digital ROADM, ATC-a.
. Lead the team in patching circuits and performing end to end
testing of various Sonnet and SDH bandwidths (STM1\4\16\64,
OC3\12\48\192) and dark fibers circuits between service
providers such as Telx, Fibernet, Verizon, Level3, MCI and

customer's cabinets and racks.
. Configured and mapped DS3 to DS0, T1s and E1 with ECI T-DAC
multiplexer and terminating to voice Media gateway through DXCs
using cat5E and coax cables. Ran cables and ensured proper
installation on ladder racks and properly lased and terminated
with RJ45, BNC, wire wrapping and punch downs.
. Installed and initial configuration of Cisco and Juniper
routers, layer 2 switches, establishing connectivity to the
network and handing over to IP Configuration (BGP) team to
configure the traffic and bring into service.
. Utilized test tools to troubleshoot and verify end to end
connectivity measurement of BER (bit errors rate), determine
whether throughput utilization, frame loss, packet-jitter and
round trip delay characteristics meet customer SLA with the
carrier.
. Ensured that new circuit installations were completed within the
contract agreed times and circuit outages restored as quickly as
possible within service layer agreement to avoid failure.
