Analyzed antibacterial, antifouling, and biomineralizing capabilities in polymer films.

Characterized film surface properties using SEM, XPS, FTIR, and etc.

Created polyphenol films for enhancing cell adhesion on non-tissue culture surfaces.

Studied fibroblast and endothelial cell behavior on polyphenol-coated surfaces.

Created a high-precision model knee for orthopedic surgery training.

Utilized 3D printing and solvent casting techniques to create synthetic ligaments.

Integrated force sensors into the model knee system for real-time feedback during surgery.

Synthesized drug-loaded lipid nanoparticles using aerosol pulse heat reactor.

Modified nanoparticle surfaces with DPPC and other biolipids.

Analyzed size distribution and drug release properties of modified nanoparticles.

Presented findings to Chemical Engineering faculty at IIT Bombay.

Engineering Design and Communications Project II

Client: Northwestern University, Evanston, IL

Created aerodynamic rockets from clarinet and model rocket parts.

Optimized structural designs based on rocket flight simulations and live launch testing.

Documented the engineering designs and construction, with video recording of the rocket launch

event selected for use in a university promotional video.

Engineering Design and Communications Project I

Client: The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), Chicago, IL

Designed and prototyped a wheelchair glove for a C6 quadriplegia patient.

Investigated various polymeric materials to optimize the force damping properties.

Collaborated with medical experts and RIC staff to improve the designs.

Documented and presented the design at EDC Project Fair.
