Develop and Coach a Maintenance Team of 16 people to develop new ideas and
ways of servicing, repairing, and maintaining SCR Copper Rod Mill
equipment.
Reduced Maintenance Downtime in the Copper Rod Mill by 12 % in first year
of new position.
Develop and Oversee the Implementation of a Preventive Maintenance Program
that includes:
Lubricating Oil Analysis and Filtration
Predictive Vibration Monitoring
Periodic and Routine Equipment Checks
Reduction of unneeded spare parts which reduced On-Hand Supply
Inventory expenses.
Research and Installation of a new bearing type on a high speed piece of
equipment which reduced equipment failure by 100 % and reduced operating
costs by eliminating downtime on this piece of equipment.
Upgraded and oversaw the installation of new style water pumps which
improved efficiency of this operation.
