Worked in a number of clients/projects which are:
US Cellular - Chicago
. US Cellular is undergoing a major migration from its existing billing
system to a brand new billing system. Among the migration was the
interfaces for data from and to external sources/companies numbering
around 30. In the old system, there were 6 databases while in the new
system there was only one consolidated database. IBM was responsible
for these interfaces.
. The migration was being done database by database, each database
representing a different market segment.
. Mr. Das role was to ensure that all the bridging between the different
migrations was programmed (Informatica Power Center, Erwin, Shell
Scripts, SQL Scripts), set up MDM and set up properly.
Pacific Life - Orange County, CA
. Pacific Life has a PeopleSoft Implementation currently in progress. As
part of the implementation, a reporting framework is being delivered.
. The reporting framework required a Aggregated Data engine to be built.
This engine was dependent on a set of report metadata to be fed to it
based on requirements given by users.
. Mr. Das had to Architect and design the Data Aggregation Engine,
define the data model, develop MDM and test the various components of
the engine with the ETL tool Informatica Power Center Ver 9.x, Erwin
and SQL Scripts and transfer knowledge to the client.
GE FLEET - Minneapolis, MN
. GE Fleet is a subsidiary of GE Capital.GE Capital is in the process of
consolidating various divisions data warehouses into its own data
warehouse. IBM was contracted to consolidate GE Fleet's data warehouse
into the GE Capital's master warehouse. Mr. Das had to design the
pieces for Big Data along with the Data Warehouse.
. Mr. Das's responsibilities were to design, develop and test the ETL
components in Big Data, SQL Scripts, Erwin and Informatica Power
Center Ver 9.x for the Event-Maintenance module, develop the MDM and
assist and mentor junior ETL resources. This included managing 3
people onsite and 12 people off-site.
J P Morgan Chase - Columbus, OH
. JPMorgan Chase Bank NA is one of the world's largest financial
institutions, serving individual consumers, small- and middle-market
businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking,
investing, asset management and other financial and risk management
products and services. The JPMC Retail ICDW Program was an 18-Month
effort to achieve an industry best in class Integrated Customer Data
Warehouse environment.
. Mr. Das was a member of a small team that built mapping xml generators
to generate mapping xml for the common components.
. After that, Mr. Das worked on the Credit Risk portion of the project
where he did the micro design, worked with the data modellers on the
data model, involved with the data mapping, developed MDM, built
mappings/sessions/workflows in Informatica Power Center Ver 8.x, Erwin
and SQL Scripts, successfully mentored junior team member in data
integration and singlehandedly managed an off-shore development team.
. This included 6 people on-site and 10 people off-site.
Markel Insurance Company - Virginia
. IBM built a Insurance Data Warehouse for a leading Insurance company.
As part of the exercise, a separate process is being built which will
extract data from the data warehouse and feed into the financial
system. This process is for the IBNR ( incurred but not reported )
transactions which are reported by the source systems and are fed into
the Data Warehouse.
. As a member of the ETL team Mr. Das was responsible for the analysis,
design and development of the 'Allocation' part of the IBNR process in
Informatica Power Center Ver 8.x, Transact SQL, SSIS, Erwin and SQL
Scripts. This included 4 people onsite and 6 people off-site.

. Mr. Das was responsible for the ETL architecture/design for the
Consumer Profile Initiative at Highmark. This would create a
consistent definition of a Consumer across Highmark with access to
reliable Consumer contact information (name, email, mailing address).
. His role was of an ETL Architect/Lead and his responsibilities
included producing the ETL architectural approach and design, ETL
standards, developed MDM, check-lists, processes, and procedures, to
support the business and technical requirements for Highmark, creating
the detailed designs for the common/re-usable components and the
complex applications, conducting code-reviews, promoted code,
performance tuning the ETL extract and load system configuration and
design and supporting the ETL development team.

Dean Foods - Dallas, TX
. Mr. Das was responsible for the design and construction of the
Supply Chain Data Warehouse at Dean Foods. This resulted in
receiving automated data feeds from direct store delivery ("DSD")
plant source systems. His role was that of a Solutions/Technical
Architect and his responsibilities included hardware sizing,
Infrastructure design, data modelling, designing MDM and data
quality strategy and worked with the stakeholders to obtain
signoffs for the design and architecture.
. This was done using Informatica Power Center/IDQ Ver 7.x/8.x,
Teradata and Erwin. This included 3 people onsite and 6 people off-
site.
VM Ware - Palo Alto, CA
. Mr. Das conducted a shortened Master Plan assessment for the
Consumer and Marketing Solutions group at VM Ware. His role was
that of a Solution architect and his responsibilities included:
assessing the current architecture, generating the technical
landscape, designing the MDM strategy, Assessing VM Ware's data
model conformance with an future SOA strategy and presenting his
findings to the IT management team of VM Ware.
United States Postal Service - Washington D.C.
. Mr. Das conducted a review of the architecture and design of the
Integration components of Seamless Acceptance to automate the
Business Mail Entry (BME) mail verification processes. This project
was to enable USPS to streamline their business mail acceptance
processes.
. His role was that of a ETL Architect/Designer. Mr. Das assessed the
Architecture and design, reviewed the technical plans met technical
standards of the client and effectively coach junior ETL
developers. The technology used was T-SQL, SQL Scripts and
Informatica Power Center Ver 8.x.
Chubb Insurance - New Jersey
. Mr. Das conducted a shortened Master Plan assessment for the Claims
EDW group at Chubb Insurance. Mr. Das assessed the current
architecture, analyzed ETL performance and made recommendations to
the Informatica Power Center code and environment to meet

. Mr. Das was responsible for the Data Integration of a Siebel
Incentive Compensation Management system. The Incentive
Compensation System was for consolidating different compensation
plans/systems for the sales and delivery workforce of different
divisions of Kraft Foods. His role was that of a Data Integration
Architect / Lead and his responsibilities included Architecture,
Technical Design, Data Modelling, Reviewing Team's Work and
providing timely and accurate status.
