Responsibilities in Developmental Disabilities

• As a former Workshop Director for the Lorain County Board of Developmental Disabilities, I Interviewed, supervised, and evaluated more than 80 employees, instructors, and a team of case managers. Oversaw 300 special needs crafts people in a workshop setting, and mentally impaired residents in an Ohio licensed developmental disabilities facility, managed budgets for Workshops, Residential Facilities, and Healthcare Services.

• As a Production Manager for the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities; I supervisor the contracted production activities in the Workshop as well as the Woodshop department where we produced picnic tables for various companies throughout Ohio and into Pennsylvania.

• As Program Director for the Hattie Larlham Foundation I Managed the daily operations of Group Homes located in Cuyahoga and Summit counties. I supervised the Home Managers, Nurses & Direct Care Staff. Involved in the hiring and termination of staff.

• As a Case Manager for the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities, I advocated on the behalf of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. I sat in on IPP and IHP as part of the Interdisciplinary Team. I had a constant caseload of 50 to 75 clients.
