I was responsible for the retention, care, discipline, and management of felons under controlled
conditions. Wrote disciplinary reports and used force where necessary to avoid long term injury or to
modify behavior. Spent two of those years in charge of the Receiving and Release department for the
Sensitive needs yard. This is essentially a warehousing job. These duties included the inventory and
issuance of personal packages from outside vendors with care taken to recordkeeping and “customer
service” for customers. Conducted interviews and compiled reports for inmates with sensitive and
confidential information. Conducted counts and generalized duties of a corrections officer. During my
last 2 years one of my primary posts was the inmate culinary (kitchen). I was responsible for the
preparation, storage, and transportation of food including refrigerated milk and meat.

Provided security for Riverbank Army Ammunition Plant in the Terrorism Deterrence capacity. Carried an
open weapon in an industrial environment to provide deterrence following the September 11 attacks.
Trained in Physical security techniques with a focus on explosives deterrence. Inspected personnel and
vehicles in an attempt to detect and deter the introduction of weapons and contraband into a secured area.
Sized, stored, and (when necessary) destroyed weapons and contraband when detected. Also spent some
of that time providing general security functions at off site locations including residential, business, and
industrial.
4) Stanislaus County Office of Education- Position title Substitute Teacher. Dates of Employment
(appx) 02/00 – 07/04 -Provided instruction for student in classes during regular instructors
absence. On-Call/Call-In position.
Closing: I have many years of experience in protection and loss prevention as well as a background in
inventory, sales, and customer service, albeit, in a very confined capacity. I have handled multiple human
