. Engineered and deployed a 44 site LTE fixed-data network for a licensed-
spectrum investor meeting a six month project deadline. Sourced equipment
and construction vendors, acquired staff and distribution resources, and
project managed the construction and integration of the network.
. Led the RFP process at Talk America to identify, negotiate and purchase
over $150 million of network equipment to support our local voice and
broadband deployment plans. Built out the local network and migrated over
350,000 local customer's phone service. The migration saved Talk America
from over $125 million in anticipated network cost increases.
. Executed a plan to take over and provide network operations management to
a 29-city WiMAX Wireless Internet network. Included building out a new
NOC and providing 24x7 network and customer support within a three month
period.
. Organized a cross functional team (CFT) to achieve provisioning process
improvements for service orders at Talk America. Over a one year period,
reduced new order conversions from 13 days to 1 business day. This effort
reduced customer churn by 50% and improved our revenue collections rate
by 12 days.
. Executed growth strategy via acquisitions by performing network and
financial due diligence on over 10 companies as potential acquisition
targets. Successfully acquired and integrated 3 of those companies into
Talk America's existing network and cost structure yielding over $250
million in annual revenue growth.
. At Cable and Wireless, led an international team tasked that developed
Network Operations Standards and Procedures for use globally. Based in
London, managed groups from the UK, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and the
Caribbean on this six-month project.

the network provisioning, repair, field service and switching
operations of Cavalier Telephone and TV and Talk America.
. Planned and built a facilities-based voice and DSL network in Michigan
and Atlanta to serve over 350,000 lines. Deployed Lucent 5ESS and
Nortel DMS TDM switches and Metaswitch VOIP gateways. Led the group
that built over 150 ILEC collocations to serve Talk America's
customers over unbundled ILEC copper loops.
. Successfully integrated two major business CLEC acquisitions: LDMI and
NTC, into Talk America's network operational planning, budgeting, and
measurement processes. Responsible for performing due-diligence
activities, developing merger agreements, and executing transition
plans. Cost synergies and revenue growth targets were achieved in both
acquisitions.
. Negotiated interconnect agreements with ILECs as well as all critical
vendor contracts with major IXC and equipment suppliers. Successfully
renegotiated key Talk America vendor contracts to support a major debt
