nano-LC trapping column and analytical column packing with home build
system, two dimensional LC separation with MS/MS identification, peptide
database search, tandem MS labeling, i-TRAQ. Protein sample preparation
including purification, digestion and desalting and gel-electrophoresis
of proteins, peptides and DNA.
. Extensive experience in operation of mass spectrometers including Thermo
LCQ, LTQ, Velos, Orbitrap, and LTQ-FT; Waters Synapt MS, Quadrupole and
microflow LC, AB Sciex Q-Star MS and Bruker MALDI-TOF. Extensive
experience with mass spectrometer maintenance including
inserting/removing/cleaning ion funnel/octopoles/pump and other daily
maintenance work.
. Extensive experience in micro fabrication in clean house: spin coating,
exposing, metallization, plasma enhances chemical vapor deposition, dry

. Software skills: TPP (Trans-Proteomic Pipeline), Mascot, Sequest, Comet,

experience with instrument software: Xcalibur, Masslynx, Empower and
