RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Conical Diffuser Analysis University of California
Davis, January - March 2014
. Developed an efficient approach to predict the locations of flow
separation for typical conical diffusers which is much simpler and
faster compared with traditional methods.
. Drafted and modeled diffusers under various working conditions with
different geometric parameters.
Research Assistant Harbin Institute of
Technology, 2011-2012
. Conducted an experiment simulating isotropic turbulence in a water
tank by using Microscopic Digital Inline Holography.
. Analyzed and compared the channel turbulence velocity fluctuations of
water and wi=50 viscoelastic fluid by using wavelet.
. Detected coherent structures, intermittence and the hierarchical
structure of the channel isotropic turbulence flow by using wavelet in
Matlab.
. Calculated the Flatness Factor(FF), the Probability Density
Function(PDF), Local Intermittence Measure(LIM) and Local Reynolds
Stress Measure(LRM) for different scales in both fluids.
Mechanical Components Design Harbin Institute of
Technology, 2010 - 2012
. Designed the V belt drive, gear drive and bearing according to given
efficiency and budget constraints.
. Designed the worm reducer according to given transmission unit
efficiency, load property, work efficiency and transmission ratio.
. Drafted and designed the hydraulic turbine blades for hydroelectric
power plant.
INTERNSHIP
Harbin Electric Machinery Co.,Ltd. July -
November 2011
. Assisted in the operation and maintenance of industrial equipment;
. Assisted in the modeling of hydraulic turbine and blade cascade.
. Obtained various properties of the working fluid in a 3D engine model.
. Performed normal mode analysis on the specified wind blades.
