Career Summary
Oct 1994 - May 2014 - National Marine Dredging Co.
The company, a semi Government firm and one of the largest in the field of
marine dredging and reclamation works. During my tenure I have successfully
handled various responsibilities mainly, contributing to Application System
implementation projects and IT Infrastructure development in the
organization. As an Application System Administrator and DBA taken lead
role in Oracle ERP System implementation and contributed to the full life
cycle of the project by participating right from gathering the business
requirements, solution finding, finalizing HW & configurations, application
development, customizing reports, UAT & Go Live.
Major Accomplishments From 2008 To 2014
. 2008 - Feasibility study and Scoping done for finding a stable and
suitable system to replace the aging Mainframe System to run the core
business applications. Solution screening and vendor evaluation
process started with the help of IT consultants.
. 2009 - Finalization of the solution and vendor as a turnkey project
to implement Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.0 in a phased
manner. Infrastructure and Hardware Configuration finalized,
procured, installed and commissioned.
. 2010 - 2011 Actively participated in the successful implementation
of the project in a time bound manner; Phase I - Oracle E-Business
Suite (R12.1.3) with HR, Payroll, Financial, Inventory and
Procurement modules. Data mining and migration of historical data
from the old legacy system also completed.
. 2012 - Upgraded the E-Business Suite Applications from R12.1.0 to
R12.1.3 and the Database was upgraded from 11.1.0 to 11.2.0. Migrated
entire Oracle Application from the existing Red Hat OS cluster
(active/passive) platform to Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)
architecture for high availability, load balancing and performance.
. 2012 - Scoping and vendor selection for implementing ERP Phase II -
Oracle EAM project finalized.
. 2013 - 2014 - Phase II - Oracle EAM modules implemented after
extensive data collection, process definition, change management and
workflow definition. Also initiated a project for the implementation
of Oracle Unifier and integration of Primavera P6 Application with
Oracle E-Business Suite Applications.
