ACADEMIC PROJECT

Project Name: Wireless Power Transfer using induction method and magnetic resonance method

Description: This project is on transmitting power to an electrical load without any conductors. This

technique can be used in number of applications like charging mobile phones, laptops, iPod and it is

used in pace makers. The most common form of wireless power transmission is carried out using direct

induction followed by resonant magnetic induction. Induction coupling method is more used in field of

medical applications such as pace makers, cohlear etc (here distance is small).In case of resonant

magnetic induction method, this method can be used for long distance applications such as home

appliances.The main advantage of this project is it eliminates the existing high-tension power

transmission line cables, towers and sub stations between the generating station and consumers and

facilitates the interconnection of electrical generation plants on a global scale. No manual recharging or

changing batteries.

• Secured 1st place in 6th and 7th semester exams in B.E. at college level

• Participated in the national conference on Informative & Innovative Technologies-NCIIT.
