Decrease emergence of resistant organisms such as Vancomycin resistant Enterococcus, C. Difficile, MRSA, Enterobacter, ESBL+ Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Travel center of Saint Augustine:
Saint Augustine is a beautiful city with a lot of historical significance as the oldest European settlement in United States. As a result the city sees a lot of tourism. From a medical point of view this translates into a lot of diversity in infections and disease. Flagler Hospital is a Magnet hospital, a prestigious title. The facility holds 335 beds and offers top notch cardiac, Oncological and Bariatric care.
In the travel center we have consulted on all adult vaccinations and prescriptions. Our vaccinations include yellow fever, typhoid/cholera, meningococcus, influenza/pneumovax /Zostavax and others.

In our outpatient Infectious disease clinic we have taken care of outpatient infusions of antibiotics such as Amphotericin B, Micamine, Caspofungin, Rocephin, Tobramycin, Nafcilline, (Ertapenem), Merropenem and others.
We have also worked closely with local podiatrist in dealing with diabetic foot infections gangrene, acute and chronic skin and soft tissue infections.
