Responsibilities

Managed all workloads and scheduling for entire staff of Drafting and Engineering personnel. Managed production scheduling and forecasting to ensure projects met expected deadlines while keeping production from receiving unexpected projects.

Developed and helped designed all connecting Inventor 3D models to work seamlessly with configurator by exchanging and controlling model parameters and linked configurator parameters using iLogic, Excel and Autodesk Inventor.

Accomplishments

Developed and created a highly customizable modeling configurator which predesigns and controls the creation of all 3D model components for over 300 separate but interlinked assembly models containing over 4000 unique parts and their key parameters. This system was created to allow designers and estimators to quickly predesign complex sound enclosures, fuel tanks and platform systems and to ensure the model would be created before uploading parameters into Inventor. This has stabilized the modeling process by prescreening all systems and parts to ensure potential fails are captured and that the model will be successfully generated . This system has greatly reduced original model run times from over 30 to 45 minutes each to less than 3-5 minutes in most cases.
