ACADEMIC PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:

• Water level indicator ala rm using I C555 T imer and using 8051

M icrocontroller:

O bjective : To control the water f low we design a simple water level indicator

w ith alarm circuit using IC NE 555 and 8051 microcontroller.

Tools used :

Using I C NE 555 : I t is based on the astable multivibrator which is wired

a round IC (NE555).

Using 89c51 microcontroller: A level alarm can be built using 8051 controller.

T he circuit makes use of four BC547 t ransistors.

• Channel estimation for under water communication using OFD M

system:

Objective: Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFD M) p rovides

an effective and low complexity means of eliminating I S I for t ransmission of

s ignals underwater.

Tools used : Created a code for block and comb type systems using

M AT LAB.

• In the block type pilot arrangement 16-QAM modulation scheme is used for a

64-subcarrier OFDM system with a two ray multipath channel.

• In comb type pilot arrangement we have considered Rayleigh-fading

channel,the frequency selective channel is assumed to be Rayleigh-fading.
