Projects
Create VMWare 5.0 services that run on a single server to host Symantec
Antivirus Database, Window Server Update Services (WSUS), and Pharmacy
Reports. Responsibilities were to setup Virtual Machine and to move
existing software on to the VMWare server.
Install New Domain Server (Windows 2012 Server OS) to replace old server
and convert old server into backup Domain Controller that would also be
used as a backup Domain Controller and would backup new server using batch
jobs. Responsibilities were to determine cut over period and installation
of server.
Work as part of a team to create SIP VOIP System. The task that I was to
perform were to determine what hardware to use, configure User Accounts,
Hardware Profiles and testing for the system.
Work with a provider to install MPLS network and to configure all remote
firewall sites to connect to Data Center.
Upgrade of Microsoft Exchange 2003 to Microsoft Exchange 2007. Migration of
Email to new server that would host the Email and run XWall Spam filtering.
Tested Open WiFi network for "dead" zones and install/configure access
points
Planning of Data Center physical location move. Created a schematic of
existing Network devices and Servers to determine which were of highest
priority. With the schematic was able to come up with a Gantt chart to plan
move according.
Create and test Disaster Recovery plan and backup procedures. Determined
that backup was relied on tape device, updated backup with SAN devices
along with Online.
