Electronic Arts is amongst the biggest interactive software/gaming company
in the world.
As part of the Electronic Arts Digital Platform team, redesigned and
implemented EA's Pogo datawarehouse, besides contributing to design and
development of various phases of EA's Mobile business datawarehouse.
The datawarehouses provided end-to-end view of the user behavior enabling
business users to identify high value customers, enabling targeted
campaigns and narrowing down on profitable marketing channels. It also
provided game statistics and usages for the benefit of game development
teams to enhance game features for future releases.

At Anthem BlueCross, Enterprise Provider Database Solution (EPDS) was a
data integration project that aimed at consolidating all Provider
information from various source systems and disparate affiliated Healthcare
network systems into a single environment. The new environment was also
designed to have enhanced functionalities and features for the business
users.
As the technical lead and ETL architect, led an ETL team that comprised
both on-site and off shore resources, was part of the data architecture
team that modeled the enterprise ODS, did source system analysis of the
various data sources, designed and implemented the ETL system end-to-end
and managed the post-production support team.

As part of the Business Information Systems group at Amgen, was involved in
3 separate projects -
(i) Was involved in developing and maintaining various interfaces which
provide data to and from various 3rd party vendors and internal clients
that provide different services to Amgen. Was also involved in developing
many new interfaces that would replace some of the existing interfaces once
the ERP implementation of the HR database went live at a later stage.
(ii) Was also involved in the Clinical Trials Accrual Project at various
times in an ETL role. This project was about the financial accruals from
various clinical trials that Amgen conducts. The role involved developing
and maintaining Informatica Powercenter mappings and Oracle stored
procedures.
(iii) Took up the Contract Management Datamart project during the later
part of the stay at Amgen. The role involved designing the dimensional data
model and designing and developing Informatica mappings.
Responsibilities:
> Interact with business users, identify and document requirements for
various interfaces.
