Dell PC Deployment Technician for Lockheed-Martin
• This was a 2-day contract assignment in Cleveland at the Department of Housing and Urban Development that
consisted of installing 12 new Dell PC’s which involved un boxing the new dell computer equipment and staging it
for imaging. When the PC’s were finished imaging, we would then collect the old PC’s and bring them back to the
staging area so that the user’s data could be backed up and transferred from the old PC to the New PC. After that
was finished, we would then deploy the new PC’s and install them. When that task was completed, the old PC
equipment was then stored in the computer room so that the hard drives could be wiped clean of user sensitive data.

• Working with the Windows 7 deployment team, It was my assignment to un box and set-up brand new HP
computers and load the Windows 7 base image once that was completed, one member of the Windows 7
deployment team would remote in to the PC’s and load specific programs for that user who was receiving the PC
would need. Once this was completed the PC was ready for me to deploy to that user I would then have to run
back-up software and swap out their old PC for the new one and install Hummingbird software and set-up their
internet and network printer connection so that the user could securely print document’s that had sensitive
information.

• This 1-month contract assignment involved working at various Wal-mart and Sam’s Club locations throughout
Northeastern Ohio for HP as part of a Thin Client refresh project. I would have to use the stores Smart program in
order to reconfigure the Mac address for the new thin client and then un-install the old thin client and install the new
HP thin client and then power up the new thin client which would reboot 7 times in order to reimage itself.
Afterwards, I would box-up the old thin clients and leave them with the Claims dept so that they could be shipped
back in order for them to be properly disposed of.

This was a one day contract assignment at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens to promote the new Windows 7 I-phone. My job was to
help set-up a Laptop and Digital camera that was used to take pictures of guests as they were arriving to the Promotional benefit for the
unveiling of the new Windows 7 I-phone.
It was also part of my job assignment to configure the demo model I-phones for the guests at the party so that they could connect to
the wireless network located inside the Cleveland Botanical Gardens building so that they could see and use the new features that are
now readily available on the new Windows 7 I-Phone. I also stayed there during the presentation in case there were any problems with
I-phones so that I could troubleshoot and fix them on-site.
Afterwards when the Promotional Benefit was over I stayed over and helped out to take down the lighting and the X-Box gaming
display equipment and boxed them up so that they could be shipped out to the next site for the upcoming Windows 7 I-Phone
promotional benefit.

After that, I would then erase the data from their old PC and have them sign off on Data migration and hard drive erasure forms and

PC Installation Technician (2 week contract
assignment)
Working with a group of 7 people in a team effort I performed preventative maintenance on 1,200 Intellect 200 voting machines and
600 Auto mark voting machines used by the disabled to vote at the Cuyahoga Board of Elections in Cleveland for an upcoming
election in August.
This included calibrating the touch screens on both the intellect 200 and Auto marks.
Testing the Intellect 200’s to make sure that they would accept and read only one ballot by inserting one ballot and to make sure that
they would not take multiple ballots by inserting two ballots.
Testing the Auto marks to make sure that all of the buttons and audio worked properly and lubricating the pickup rollers with white
lithium grease lubricant to make sure that they work properly.
Making sure that the ballot threshold count was set to 166 and also checking to verify that the day, date, time zone settings were
correct as well.
