• Design experiments and generate protocols to determine if it is safe and efficient to

use mesenchymal stem cells as a therapy for ischemic injuries. I use a murine

peripheral artery disease (PAD) model, which entails performing femoral artery ligation

survival surgery, as well as an in vitro aortic ring assay to evaluate angiogenesis.
