portfolio providing leadership, mentoring and process development to the US Business
Production Management teams and the Cognizant offshore partner team. Responsible for
all aspects of service restoration, communication, and incident avoidance strategies.
Institutional Program lead for the US Business Infrastructure upgrade initiative. The goal
of this program was to achieve infrastructure cost savings while increasing capacity,
agility, and reliability. Required coordination of Build and Operate teams to ensure proper
planning, testing, and execution without impacting service levels to the customer.
Completed conversion of the entire distributed portfolio including AIX, Wintel and
storage components ahead of schedule and with benefits exceeding the $6.5 million save

8/2005 – 1/2010 Team Lead – Institutional Production Management. Subject matter expert
leading Reliability, Availability, Scalability, and Performance (RASP) initiatives spanning the
Institutional application portfolio. Reporting to the Director, I also demonstrated leadership in
building best practices in the Production Management organization and assisting other teams to
deliver exceptional results in their areas of responsibility. Received individual and team
recognition for work on the Operational Excellence US Infrastructure project for Institutional.

8/2001 - 8/2005 Project Manager responsible for defining direction and developing shared
services for the Institutional web channel. Also established the Software Quality Assurance
practice for the eService organization and built a team that performs automated regression testing
for our applications coincident with change. The automated testing competency continues to gain
momentum today and is viewed as a key success factor in deploying reliable changes with
significantly reduced impact to business.
8/1992 - 8/2001 Project Manager responsible for the Institutional Pensions financial systems
including our annuitant payment systems. I was also one of the seed leaders who relocated from
NYHO to open the Atlanta office and was responsible for staffing and vendor agreements
supporting the change.

and promotion in the Institutional Pensions organization, starting as a Programmer Trainee and
advancing to Project Manager. I had the privilege of working and managing many of MetLife's
technology innovations including mainframe applications, minicomputer distributed processing,
PC introduction, Local Area Networks, Lotus Notes implementation and development for large
applications, client server development, Executive Information Systems, and numerous
reengineering initiatives in the Pensions Department.
