JOB DETAILS:

• Overhead Crane (KHOTEN) 10 tons auxiliary 75 tons man hoist,

with cab and switch operation.

• Overhead Crane (DANIELI) 10 tons auxiliary and 25 tons man

hoist, with cab and can switch operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Testing of overhead Crane during first hour of work for any

abnormalities and report to maintenance for proper check-up.

• Daily check-up of electrical system/ equipment associated by duty

electrician.

• Cleaning/ servicing of overhead crane as per schedule associated

by duty electrician.

• Lifting of ladle, preparation during furnace tapping

• Segregation of slag to metal.

• Pouring metal to cooling molds, transport to sizing area.

• Assist slag tender, lifting of slag from slag runner transport to slag

pit.

• Assist lifting of heavy equipment from ground floor to furnace lobby.

• To perform the duty smooth and orderly from time to time.
