– March 2013 – July 2013 –

Freelance

Collaborated with the Architecture Firm "Aire" in the development and implementation of the

initiative "Back to the Town". We carried out integral management for the implementation of new

businesses and residents in rural areas.

– June 2011 – July 2012 – Company: UEM Madrid.

PROJECT: University Building, Villaviciosa de Odon, Madrid.

ARCHITECT: Peicob & Partners, LLP.

POSITION: Assistant Property Manager.

Scope of project; for copyright reasons from the owner and Pei Coob Freed & Partners, I can not

give details of the scope of this project.

Duties:

Oversaw the technical, financial and schedule management.

Offered advanced solutions to support the owner interests.

At the same time, I was working as a Facility Manager in the pre-construction and construction

phase for the restoration of the interior and exterior of the older campus buildings.

– July – December 2010 – Company: SUMAR, Servicios Urbanismo y Arquitectura, S.L.

PROJECT: Sports City “Espartales III” – Alcalá de Henares, Madrid.

POSITION: Resident Engineer and Health and Safety Manager.

Scope of project; over 193,000 Sq. Ft., three swimming pools, indoor sports arena, fitness area

with a budget of US $33.7 million.

Duties:

After a 9 month suspension in construction, SUMAR hired me to coordinate the work of around

15 subcontractors along with the Site Manager and Architect to finish the project by the deadline.

Also, as Study Coordinator, carried out the measures, valuation and budgeting of the project, as

well as the execution, revenue and planning control. I created a document to develop the Building

Book which is required for any construction, reducing its elaboration time by two thirds.

Freelance

Assumed the implementation and monitoring of works such as project development and document

processing of various construction and architectural firms, which specialized in retrofiting and

restoring residential, industrial and commercial buildings.

PROJECT: Retrofit of “Edificio España”, Madrid (1st Skyscraper of Europe 1947-49)

ARCHITECT: RUBIO & ALVAREZ-SALA Architects.

POSITION: Health and Site Safety Manager.

Scope of project; over 807,300 Sq. Ft., with a budget of more than US $1.2 million for demolition.

I coordinated with the risk management firm Lawrence Webster Forrest Ltd from England to

implement Fire & Safety Regulations and Procedures (Fire Safety Operative).

Duties:

Risk assessments of the building before demolition and during construction, including specific

works as asbestos removal.

Budget and profit management of the Health and Safety Dept.

Implemented the Fire Evacuation Procedure.

Coordinated the implementation of Forrest Ltd’s “Norisk Demolition” method, to the Spanish

building laws and work methodology. Maintained direct communication with the Site Manager to

forecast the work areas and its methods to create internal rules to improve the working conditions.

This allowed the project to be finalized without any accidents.

Formulated budgets and fee documents for new contract proposals to the Technical Dept.

– January 2005 – June 2007 – Company: DRAGADOS S.A.

PROJECT: Retrofit of Viana Palace, Madrid (Owned by Spanish Landmark and headquarters of

Spanish Foreign Affairs Ministry).

POSITION: Project Supervisor.

Scope of project; budget of more than US $21.6 million, with over 64,500 Sq. Ft. of retrofit, 9,100

Sq. Ft. of new construction and 16,100 Sq. Ft. of reforested landscape.

Duties:

In charge of credit control and ordering materials to and for around 35 subcontractors.

Managed all document control (plans, designs).

Implemented the Quality and Environmental normative.

– November 2004 – January 2005 – Company: VALLADARES Ingeniería S.L. Madrid.

POSITION: Engineer in Structures Dept.

Duties:

Project development and coordination.

Budgeted future projects included in construction offers.

Duties:

Liaison between architect, real state developer and contractors.

Formulated estimates and production work.

Developed the sales program for buildings, commercial areas (banks, retail, food and

entertainment), corporate offices and apartments, using as-built plans and 3D details.

Languages

Spanish is my native tongue, and my English is proficient. Two weeks after moving to NY I took
