I am seeking a position with your company as a Communications Tower

Technician:

My technical specialty is the installation and maintenance of radio

communications tower, antenna systems, and related site structures. I have

also been assigned project leader duties in that capacity. My experience

includes exposure to adverse conditions (e.g., high towers, inclement

weather, remote sites, etc.) I am familiar with construction equipment, 4-

wheel drive vehicles, hydraulic/electric winches, fork-lifts, etc. I can

fabricate tower hardware and accessories for the installation, repair, and

retrofit of antenna systems equipment. I can interprets blueprints,

diagrams, manufacturer specifications, etc. to ensure proper installation.

I have participated in the training of less experienced co-workers to

assure quality work, safety and proper use of job site tools, equipment,

and materials.

My knowledge, Skills, & Abilities include the principles and procedures

involved with inspection of support structures. I am experience in the

proper care and use of personal protective gear (e.g. hard had, climbing

belt, steel-toed boots, etc.). This includes the proper and safe loading

of tower hardware for transport to other sites. I am experienced in the

basic care and use of hand and power tools. My experience includes the

fabrication of metal support structures (e.g. antenna brackets, ice

shields, solar array supports, feed-line support systems, mono pole towers,

etc.). This experience includes the principles and procedures of preventive

maintenance on physical structures and equipment. My installation

experience includes proper electrical wiring methods. I have been trained

in the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). My last

position was as installation site supervisor.

I have had exposure to the following working environments:

I can climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load to perform

work at altitudes of up to 12,000 feet. I can routinely lift heavy objects

(up to 35 pounds) and work in many types of weather conditions. I am not

opposed to working irregular hours and/or respond to emergency call-outs on

a 24 hour basis. I have travel extensively to world locations in that

application of my technical duties.

I am in good health and speak the following languages. I am a permanent

resident of the Unites States in good standing and hold an Alien

Registration Receipt Card (Green Card). I speak the following languages:
