. Specifically recruited to develop and implement short/long- range
goals for transportation services and systems relating to the
management of a $152 Million spend that directly supported the
North American and EMEA customer base. Responsibilities included
carrier procurement and negotiation and the management of a 1,000
asset private fleet and drivers.
. Designed carrier strategy to meet the needs of a 500+ sales force
and support same day orders with next day deliveries out of 52
owned and 30 third party facility locations when Nexeo became a
standalone company in March 2012.
. Implemented a 3rd party Transportation Management System leveraging
their rate structure and optimization capabilities resulting in
double-digit improvements in on-time service and freight cost.

. Scope of duties consisted of creating new transportation team while
managing a Retail and Internet direct budget of $25 million.
Responsibility was to provide strategic direction, develop supply
chain solutions and facilitate the flow of products. Targeted to
lead the launch into Puerto Rico and Canada.
. Successfully developed a pool distribution network that took into
account an annual growth of 50 to 60 stores while initiating cost
saving initiatives, which proved instrumental in allowing the
company to launch a successful IPO.

. Recruited to develop a short/long-term strategy for the department
and subsequently implemented those changes to enhance the store
delivery and distribution centers receiving process. Once
implementation took place was promoted and became responsible for
budgets of $83 million for 2005, $138 million for 2006 and 2007.
. Negotiated all Domestic and International carrier contracts and
rates.
. Outsourced collect vendor shipments to achieve $4 to $5 Million
annual savings in consolidated routings through I2 based TMS
