Design, Simulate and Test ignition Electronics circuits, design circuit

boards for EMC compliance, analyze product warranties and propose

cost effective solutions, develop suppliers and propose cost

improvement solutions.

Global Ignition Test engineer (7 years)

Test Equipment modification / integration.

Modified Test system configuration to remove a signal generator

from a test station and replaced it with a computer card, then modify

the test program to use the card instead of the function generator.

Integrate test equipment station, includes; Computer, function

generator, power supply, oscilloscope, multi-meter and driver card in a

bench and send it to Torreon, modifying program to meet the product

requirements.

Built a more robust continuity tester using Flip-Flops instead of

transistors pairs for vibration testing.

Create a machine to test resistors on production line, includes:

power supply, signal generator, driver, light curtains and finger

sensitive controls.

Develop test equipment procedures.

Write down test procedures for modified machines and new

products, Develop EMC test plans for SRA, and Ignition products and

perform the tests.

Repair test equipment.

Tune PID loops for temperature controllers, troubleshoot

electronic boards like, drivers, signal comparators, signal generators,

and thermal chambers, high voltage generators, and test equipment to

test distributors, sensors, solenoids and actuators using stepper

motors.

Support/training of technicians on performance, durability and EMC

testing.

Design and build test fixtures.

Design fixtures to test the products using SolidEdge, get quotes

and build the test system.

Troubleshoot Ignition module signals for proper operation of Ignition

system.
