Practical Training
National Thermal power corporation Limited,Badarpur (Delhi-
44)-
This leading body in involved in power generation running on
Thermal energy. I worked in control & instrumentation (C& I).Here
Acknowledge the production of electricity and its distribution, the
various protection schemes and load sharing between parallel bus-
bar arrangement system and Transformation of AC to DC by
rectifiers transforms. I got an insight in to various type of relays and
circuit breaker. This training helped me in understanding electrical
generation and distribution.
Academic Project
PREPAID CAR PARKING SYSTEM- Prepaid Car Parking System enables
parking system/Access System with the ability to recognize a registered vehicle at exit
point if it does not make an entry before exiting. Prepaid Car Parking system is based
on the full mechanical assembly installed at the Entry/Exit of a Parking lot. When a car
approaches the parking lot, the Mechanical Entrance Gate gets opened. At the display
Panel, current status of free space is shown. After viewing the free space, the vehicle
enters in the parking space & parked at the allotted space by the elevator system
made for lifting the car. The IR Sensors located at the same location triggers the
program running on the computer at the Entry/Exit of a Parking lot & accordingly the
program changes the color of the parking location .Now the system continuously
checks for the car parked at the allotted locations. If the space gets filled up, the
entrance gate will not open.
