I was a label estimator. I estimated the cost of flexographic labels, which included pricing cutting dies,
papers, flexo inks, etc.
M.R.H. Printing, Inc. / dba ProPrint – Fenton, MO 8/2008 – 12/2011
As Vice-President, I was responsible for all aspects of running a small, independently owned, printing
company. These responsibilities included, but were not limited to maintaining inventory, purchasing
raw materials, profit and loss, payroll, running and maintaining equipment, supervising press operators,
work flow, and customer service.
Rx Systems, Inc. – St. Charles, MO 8/1981 – 7/2008
During my 27 years with Rx Systems, I was promoted from press operator, to Supervisor, to Assistant
Plant Manager, and finally to Purchasing Agent. During this time I learned to run narrow web presses
(Allied Gear, Mark Andy, W ebtron flexo presses), and to help supervise our flexo department press
operators. I was involved in the day to day operations and decisions as the Assistant Plant Manager,
and eventually responsible for maintaining inventory and purchasing all raw materials for the entire
manufacturing operation, including two off-site locations.
St. Regis Paper Company – O’Fallon, MO 9/1980 – 7/1981
During my brief time at St. Regis, I was responsible for setting up and running a 6 color envelope
machine, along with all adjustments and maintenance of the machine, while producing a quality product
with minimal claims.
Drug Package – O’Fallon, MO 6/1974 – 5/1980
Responsible for running 1, 2 and 3 color Allied Gear presses, and Manhassett 4 and 5 color presses.
Also responsible for maintain quality control and getting customers orders printed and shipped on a
timely basis with minimal claims.
