PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:
• Completed a mini project in “BROKEN WIRE DETECTORS”.
In 3-core cables, it appears almost impossible to detect a broken wire and the
point of break without physically disturbing all the three wires that are concealed in a
PVC jacket. The circuit presented here can easily and quickly detect a broken/faulty
wire and its breakage point in 1-core, 2-core, and 3-core cables without physically
disturbing wires. It is built using hex inverter CMOS CD4069.
• Completed a project on “CELL PHONE OPERATED LAND ROVER” without any
microcontroller.
Wireless-controlled robots use RF circuits,which have the drawbacks of
limited working range, limited frequency range and limited control. Mobile phone can
be used for robotic control to overcome these limitations. It provides the advantages
of working range as large as the coverage area, no interference with other controllers.
The control of robot involves three distinct phases: reception, processing and action.
Generally, the preceptors are sensors mounted on the robot, processing is done by the
DTMFT decoder, and the task (action) is performed using motors or with some other
actuators.
• Completed a project on “SMART BUS INFORMATION SYSTEM ”
The aim of our project is to provide a little contribution to the automation stream,
especially to identify the bus and give information to an individual about the present location
of a bus. Many times, it is important to have application of tracking location, particularly in
day to day life. Our project is mainly to overcome the difficulties faced by an individual
inorder to get the bus in his daily routine.This automatic system depends on GPS and GSM
technology .We use GPS technology to determine the location of the bus and we use the GSM
technology to send the information about the location of the bus to the individuals through
mobile communication.By a combination of GSM & GPS technologies it is possible to
monitor the mobile assets like car, truck, bike, boat or ship and live human movement
virtually anywhere and then locate it to within a few meters. As per the scheme of things for
using the Automatic Vehicle Locating, the targeted vehicle is equipped with an AVL unit that
receives signals from the GPS satellites. The GPS receiver determines its current location,
speed and heading which is stored locally and transmitted to a central control center using
GSM - Global standard of mobile communication technology.
