So allow me a moment to try and convey my excitement about this position

through this email. I am an out the box,creative, intuitive,

funny,considerate,honest,teamplayer with a passion for life, people and I

know how to get things moving and keep them moving. Drumrolll...Who is she?

My name is Wilma Rosser, my background is mainly catering and events, in

addition to some other positions I have taken, to take care of my lovely 21

year old daughter and myself through the years, but enough about her,she's

grown now.

I have been planning events since I was twenty years old, I have always

loved creating special moments and celebrating people and that fire

continues to burn in me today. I worked for a company that started in an

ice cream shop,with no recipes,no equipment,no customers, you get the

picture NOTHING! What we did have was the courage to try,a variety of

skills, and a hot plate. Seriously, we did it all and with excellence, I

learned the restaurant and catering business from scratch. We created

menus,recipes, found vendors, purchased and installed

equipment,hired,cleaned,cold called prospective clients,

purchased,cooked,created marketing materials,catering forms,policies,menus,

served,hired,cried,prayed, decorated and slept there to get the jobs done

at times. Honestly, it's too much to list but when you invite me to the

interview (hint!)I can break it down for you. I want to follow your

directions and keep it to a one pager.

I will be checking my email every five minutes because I have faith that

you will contact me. It's fate(I hope). P.S. I was just at an event with

someone from STIR (I'm not going to name drop yet!)and I wanted to approach

him and inquire about opportunities, but I am a professional and I was

committed to the work I was doing that night.
