■ Network Administrator/Technician – Contracted to maintain/troubleshoot/monitor 23 off-base networks to include

NSAnet;JWICS/SCI;SIPRnet – Responsible for separate JWICS/SCI networks for 19 buildings

on base as well as 1 circuit located on the NASA center.JWICS circuits for

various bases throughout the United States, and OCONUS. This includes the daily maintenance/troubleshooting/

monitoring and backups for each site. Responsible for various Cisco equipment to include 3750 Switches,

6509 switches and 6513 switches. Responsible for 23 KG-175A and KG-175D Taclanes for each circuit.

This includes static routes, crypto, maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure 24/7 availability.

■ Maintains 65 Cisco VOIP JWICS phones for users throughout the building, to include out of the box setups.

■ IT Project Manager – Responsible for managing an IT budget of over $250,000.00. Responsible for 4 separate office

buildings IT infrastructure to encompass 9 Windows servers, and over 100 users altogether. Manages 2 Juniper

Routers, 6 Cisco Catalyst 48 port switches, 4 Linksys Wireless Routers, and 2 Linksys Wireless Access Points.

Migrated the entire company (101 Users) to Google for Company-wide email services through Gmail.

■ Lead Network Administrator – Responsible for the daily upkeep of 9 Windows servers, 100+ laptops, and 55 Cisco

VOIP phones using the Cisco Unified Administration software. Responsible for the daily cloud backup to Barracuda

using the Barracuda Backup Manager, as well as monitoring all network traffic through Barracuda Web Filter

hardware. Manages the companies Sharepoint website as well as all daily troublecalls within the company.

■ Assistant Leading Petty Officer – Responsible for 42 junior personnel’s daily work assignments, training and

qualification. Responsible for overseeing maintenance of 9 Alcatel switches, 3 Cisco Routers, and 25 Windows

servers. Responsible for 42 junior personnel and supervised completion of weekly maintenance assignments.

Responsible for the handling of 3 weekly administrative reports for the work center.

■ Lead Network Administrator for the Secure Local Area Network – Responsible for 25 Windows 2008 servers, over 3

Cisco Routers and 20 Alcatel switches, and over 1000+ workstations. Responsible for daily maintenance, operation,

backups and restores as well as over 300 hours of troubleshooting of several classified networking systems.

■ Managed Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Servers, File Servers, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, File Allocation

System (FAS2020) and User Account Management to include over 5500 users at any given time.

■ Responsible for maintaining several Cisco Routers 4000 and 2851 Series, and Alcatel Xylan Switches. Installed Fiber

Optic and Cat5 cables throughout the ship. Firm understanding of several tactical Navy Shipboard systems to include

Theater Battle Core Management System (TBMCS), a UNIX based system for Air Battle Plans.

■ Administered Global Command and Control System Maritime (GCCS-M), a vital system used to display platforms of

ships that is fed through the ship’s radar onto several operator computer displays throughout the ship. This system

supports 56 users and 4 UNIX Based OS Servers using ORACLE, and WEBSERVER Applications.

■ Technician for 10 different crypto devices including Taclanes, and various communications equipment. Responsible for

the daily operation and maintenance of 15+ HF, UHF, SHF, and EHF communications circuits.

Tech Control Supervisor Naval Radio Transmitter Facility Niscemi, Sicily, Italy

■ Technician for the ONE-NET (OCONUS - Network) system WAN for all of Naval Computer and

Telecommunications Station Sigonella, Sicily, Italy.

■ Tech Control Supervisor – Responsible for 42 HF FRT/96 Transmitters’ maintenance and daily operation, again

achieving a 99% reliability rate for 3 consecutive years.

■ Training Petty Officer – Responsible for the training of 21personnel stationed at NRTF, including projecting and

coordinating future training required to stay mission ready.

■ Repair Parts Petty Officer – Responsible for ordering, controlling, and inventorying over 1 million dollars of spare

and repair parts.

■ Network Administrator – Responsible for over 300+ Unclassified computer workstations and six Windows 2000

servers (PDC, BDC, Microsoft Exchange, Windows File Server, GCCS Unix Server, and Fleet Wide Messaging

System (Navy Specific)). Responsible for 45 Secret Classified workstations and two Secret Classified Windows 2000

servers.

■ Work center Supervisor – Responsible for 8 junior personnel’s daily workload, training, and supervised maintenance on

the above servers.

■ Radio Technician –Maintained 30+ HF, UHF, and SATCOM circuits, ensured reliable communications with all ships in

the battlegroup.

■ Message Drafter – Drafted 200+ messages to be sent to various commands, ensured key personnel received updated

ship’s movement and situational operations.

■ Damage Control Petty Officer – Responsible for all of the Damage Controlling Items for the Division, to include pipes,

valves and fire- fighting equipment. Maintained 3 fire fighting stations 2 ladder-wells and 10 deck drains.
