Was assigned to two $30 to $50 million projects that were seriously behind schedule and over budget. Both

projects were completed on time. One was completed $4 million under budget.

indigenous-run ministry. We have completed the training for our exit strategy. We will continue to guide and

lead from home.

Mission Team Leader in Ethiopia 2000 to 2/2003 Ethiopia

* Lived in Ethiopia for 3 years as part of a large missions organization. Became the team leader when the

previous one resigned shortly after our arrival.

Manager of Technical Training for North America 1/1996 to 7/1999 Houston, TX

* Implemented needs-based training strategy, eliminating rewards-based training - reduced operating

training cost by 25% .

Start-Up Manager and Process Manager 1l/1991 to l/1996 Norco, LA

* Took over a severely delayed project and guided team to complete it on time and under budget. Produce

record startup production.

Project Manager 7/1989 to 11/1991 Carson, CA

* Synthesized a team of plant, project and contract personnel to complete a severely behind schedule and over

budget project. Completed it on time and $4M under budget.

* Implemented a totally new process control system and reorganized the department with a 40% reduction in

staffing.

* Upgraded fire-fighter training for operators - these trained operators were able to save the plant when a

fire broke out, resulting in millions of dollars saved.

*Applied de-bottlenecking and time/motion studies in a mature chemical process plant increased production by
