Finance and PLM MDM Implementation - 1) Assess current state of the master

data function around Finance function by evaluating master data processes

state 3) Determine processes to improve, automate, cleanse and consolidate

the master data from legacy to SAP.

Role: Lead a team of 12+ resources on the project onshore/offshore,

provided direction and guidance to the team members and ensured that the

deliverables are of high quality and delivered timely; handled the end-end

implementations and executed successful cutovers and multiple integration

testing. Interacted with senior level executives at the Vice President and

SAP MDM/BPM Implemention

MDM Finance Transformation - Finance Transformation effort involving a

Finance Function assessment including detailed process reviews of various

Finance areas and determine areas of improvement in organization structure

improvement, technology enhancements etc. Leveraged SAP MDM in integration

with SAP MDM to improve several business processes using Business

Workflows.

Role: Managed 12+ resources on the project onshore/offshore to deliver

quality MDM Finance solution. Managing the architecture and deployment

initiatives of SAP MDM and BPM end-end delivery of the project. Led the

project thread and presented findings and analysis to the MDM Controller,

Supported add-on sales for a Financial Suite project valued at

approximately $1 million. Responsible for project plan inputs and resource

estimation for the current finance master data object. Conceptually

translate the business strategies and requirements into technical strategy

and design the business solution. Performed system and integration testing

A leading global mobile phone manufacturer and telecommunications equipment

company.

Role: Project Lead implementing and upgrade MDM project. Performing and

upgrade of their existing MDM solution to SAP MDM 7.1. The project mainly

concentrates on developing the UI using SAP Net weaver Webdynpro using

custom development integrating to MDM. Moving the data model to MDM 7.1

and making necessary changes to the data model. The system was moved from

their legacy world to the new SAP world where after upgrade the performance

of the system was improved 7 times faster. Lead a team of 10 resources

from various domains. Implements CTS for MDM Transports.

Cosmetics Industry, Data Governance Lead. (July 2009 - Nov 2009)

Role: Data Governance Lead to develop an MDM Data governance Model.

Conducting group and/or individual follow-up working sessions with Senior

Management from each of the business cycles in scope reviewing and

documenting the AS-IS process. The mission of the project was to develop a

Governance Model and provide guidelines to implement the same and maintain

them. Provided templates and solution to maintain the policies/standards.

Developed data governance framework and model. Provided tools necessary to

assist the internal resources in sustaining the governance model going

forward. Based on meetings developed "to be" business process, Built

homogeneity and standardization of controls across processes and locations.

Months

The client is a global medical technology company that is focused on

improving drug delivery, enhancing the diagnosis of infectious diseases and

cancers. They develop, manufacture and sell medical supplies, devices,

laboratory instruments, antibodies, reagents and diagnostic products.

Role: EDM lead responsible for international deployment of MDM Global

template. Worked closely with the EDM Client manager in implementing and

EDM Framework in the organization across the board. This was a multi-

national project with several waves spread across UK, India, Canada and the

US. one item consolidation using SAP MDM 5.5. Conducted rapid design

workshops around data management flows and processes and developing end-end

flows to ensure completeness of a data governance model and designed data

governance framework and realization of master data. Architecting EDM

solutions, designing/developing data governance standards, roles/

responsibilities, facilitating data conversion, mapping and cleansing

workshops. Establishment of data management tactical approach in assessing

the current state and providing the data governance framework along with

methods and templates to create and deploy the data governance

organization. Provided inputs to implement the latest SAP MDM 7.1 with a

comparision analysis to the clients. Provided expert guidance on the SAP

MDM tool and educated the client by conducting knowledge sharing sessions

SAP MDM in its early stage.

Role: MDM Project lead responsible for implementing one item consolidation

using SAP MDM 5.5. Conducted client/process owner interviews to document

process via a flow chart. Responsible for setting up an approach in

modeling a complex business retail system in conjunction with normalizing

and cleansing the data from their legacy as well as SAP R/3 system.

Effectively developed the data model in MDM, integrating webmethods to SAP

MDM. The data been used by Business Intelligence. Worked closely with

customers to understand their current system and did data discovery and

classification to get a better understanding of their data across their

enterprise landscape. Review and recommendations on Initial Enterprise Item

structure to ensure the design will support both the short term reporting

requirements and the longer term goals. Co-ordinated with several other

integration teams to implement consolidation scenario and facilitating

discussion to provide guidance during integrating of MDM 5.5 with respect

Clients - Chevron, Marathon, Amerada Hess, BP.

Role: Team Lead SAP Labs to test the MDM solution. Worked on MDM 3.0, one

of the initial versions of MDM before SAP's acquisition to MDME/SAP MDM.

Developing prototypes and enhancing some key capabilities of the tool.

Working closely with the Product Management team. Managed a group as a team

lead and coordinated the team members in developing the distribution

scenario of MDM.

The clients were the top 5 in the Oil & Gas industries providing generic

template requirement to deliver the upstream PRA solution.

Role: Team Lead SAP Labs to deliver the Upstream PRA solution, Royalty and

Tax Reporting Modules. Responsible for requirements gathering, design,

development and implementation of SAP PRA solution. Managed a group as a

team lead and coordinated the team members in implementing several tasks

for various states and agencies. Key member in the SAP's PROFOG committee,

a group of key resources from client's group together to discuss and

provide requirements to generic templates. Involved in discussions with

several industry partners implementing this solution and make them

understand and help them implement the solution.

Developed the Reporting framework to report the Royalty to the states from

the Oil and Gas Upstream industry, extensively used SAP ABAP and ABAP

Objects, creating interfaces, customization. Responsible for managing

Royalty and Tax Reporting Development according to the template design and

reporting the progress of the project deliverables to the immediate

supervisor/manager. Actively participated in Acceptance testing of PRA

solution. Managed the defect resolution and handled tickets from clients.

ALIT (Ashok Leyland) - Automotive (Jan 2000 - June 2001)

The client was one of the major automotive manufactures for heavy vehicles.

The project involved a huge implementation of several ERP modules and

phases.

Role: Team lead involved in managing the JIT and LCL Modules within the

Oracle Framework running on Unix (Compaq ES40). Worked on all phases of the

project life cycle and 2 waves. Managed a team of 10, working closely with

the client. Involved in acceptance testing and successful went live.
