. Instituted 5S practices by creation of work cells, work cell reporting
charts and improvement planning resulting in 10% time savings.
. Six Sigma Green Belt project responded to customer issue to reduce
electronic component and wire routing schedule. The project solution
deployed laser projection technology reducing schedule time by 50% and
also provided for automated inspection. A follow on green belt project
deployed digital inspection equipment (flatbed scanner, Romer arm)
responding to issues related to delays in manual inspection within the
IPT. After implementation the project saved 80% touch time in inspection
and reporting while improving documentation.
FLOW Manager 2004 - 2007
Coordinated all manufacturing activities related to production of
classified and un-classified program composite structures. Managed
scheduling and staff, led production and manufacturing engineers across 5
programs, each consisting of up to 8 sub-assemblies. Participated in
design process, design of tooling, assembly sequence, external
subcontracts, NMDR/RCCA/MRB activities, scheduling and daily task burn
down.
. Developed daily shop floor task meetings, streamlining communications on
production related issues, eliminating schedule impacts, shop floor
conflicts.
