• Currently on rotation with the Single Family CFO division. Responsible for designing and developing loan loss
reserve reporting applications with SAS and Excel VBA. One such application is the Loan Loss Reserve Transition
Matrices which calculates a loan population’s future transition rates from one delinquency status to another and then
displays these rates based on pre-defined buckets.

agency. These audits have directly resulted in improved controls and operating efficiencies.
• Use SAS and SQL code to query databases and external files in order to validate data being used by multiple End
User Computers (EUCs) and business processes.

Consultant (Various Clients)
• Validated in-scope loan population and segments for a major foreclosure audit. Tasks included reviewing logic of
SQL code used to obtain loan population and segments, reviewing tables/fields used in SQL code, and running
independent queries to reconcile reported population/segment numbers. Work was performed primarily on servicer’s
proprietary database via Transact SQL with additional analysis executed in Excel.
• Performed fair lending statistical analysis for various clients. Tasks include filtering and scrubbing client provided
data, performing statistical regressions and analysis via SAS, and drafting final reports that presented the analysis in a
comprehensive and intelligible manner.
• Developed comprehensive auditing test plans for a major loan servicing client. Auditing test plans covered all aspects
of the foreclosure process and were broken up by subject area regulations (ie HAMP, bankruptcy, SCRA) and state
regulations. The test plans were used to determine if improper foreclosures occurred or if foreclosure activity
resulted in financial harm to borrowers.

• Developed a Microsoft Access EUC for Freddie Mac’s Multifamily Capital Markets Group. Application consists of a
central Microsoft Access repository with customized forms and reports through design view and VBA
code. The new application, through its reduction of manual data inputs, transfers and calculations, allows users to
complete the various tasks within the securitization process more efficiently and with less risk of user error.
• Developed and revised SAS models that estimate cash flows and credit subsidy rates for various TARP initiatives at
the U.S. Treasury Department, including the Capital Purchase Program (CPP) and the Automotive Industry
Financing Program (AIFP). The model calculations resulted in more accurate budgeting for the agency and were used
in public communications.
• Developed two End User Computers (EUCs) for Freddie Mac’s Multifamily Investment and Operations Group to

assist with month end accounting processes. Both Excel-based applications were developed entirely through VBA
code with SQL for querying data. The first application, the FAS 91 Fee Basis Adjustments EUC, imports user
specified Excel files and then calculates, on a monthly basis, the remaining FAS 91 fee amortization per loan. The
second application, the Mortgage Balances EUC, imports user specified files and queries a proprietary database to
reconcile mortgage account balances from the general ledger with their original source balances.
• Created complete process flows of the Multifamily Securitization Process at Freddie Mac using Business Process
Modeling Notation (BPMN) standards and Industry Print software. Process flows include the key accounting controls
that are reviewed by external auditors.

Research Analyst (Global Priority Team)
• Outlined and documented investment strategies of hedge funds, mutual funds, pension funds, and banks
in Europe, North America, and South Africa. Assessed local and regional investment approaches in a changing global
marketplace. Team efforts led to a 100% increase in the asset management firm profiles available to our capital
markets and corporate investor relations clients.
• Communicated daily with senior finance executives regarding proprietary investment strategies in equity, fixed
income, and derivatives. Efforts resulted in increased depth and detail to already existing equity data sets, as well
as the creation of new data sets in fixed income, sovereign wealth funds, and proprietary trading desks.
• Spearheaded a Latin America expansion project with a small team of researchers. Efforts focused on profiling
Brazilian, Argentine, Chilean, and Mexican asset management companies and broker/dealers through
extensive research and direct communication with regional investment managers and security analysts. Efforts

North America, Europe, and Asia.
