• Publix Distribution was a fast paced environment, we had to

maintain atleast an 80 percent accuracy and speed to get the work done and increase the pay.

We used pallet jack,utilize headset technology to help track order placements and locate

them in the warehouse and place them on the pallets while operating a sit down forklift or

electric pallet.

Work History

• Amazon/ SMX- January 2009- 2012 at Amazon i started out doing

the assembly line, the first year then i was crossed trained to work different positions such as

pick packing, stocking, replenishing, shrink wrap, data entry and shipping receiving. My

shipping receiving duties were to receive and unload freight both manually or with

equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and

quality of order; verify items received with purchase order; wraps, packages, and ship

supplies; deliver and retrieve supplies to and from work or storage areas; tag and issue

supplies; stock shelves and rotate inventory.

• Today’s Staffing- Data Entry-2007- 2008

Assembly: I screwed bolts, glued individual parts onto a manufactured

item on the assembly line. In another area i helped create ties, putting on labels and clear

sleeves.

My duties as a Machine Operator were: Make adjustments to the machine to control speed,

material feed and path of the cut, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly,

working well, and producing quality product. I also stocked materials, well-maintained and

perform periodic checks on output. Looked at the finished product to ensure it was defect-

free and ready for the next step in production.
