Deputy CEO 2008 - 2010
Worked as deputy CEO for the Tarifi Company from 2008 till September 2010. Was in charge of
manufacturing ready mix concrete, aggregates, super plasticizers, and quality control. The
company is the largest producer of freshly ready mix concrete in Palestine via Israel.
Major accomplishments:
• Helped and guided the company’s shares acquisition to one owner.
• Renewed and raised the quantities of all machineries for the production, manufacturing
and transportation of freshly ready mix concrete, and aggregates.
• Increased sales from 7,000 cubic meter of concrete to 20,000 monthly in 2 years time,
through accuracy of product delivery to customers, better quality control, promotion and
development of the products, more and newly fleet of machinery, and provided credits to
potential customers, including discounts to early payments.
• Secured bank loans and credits from suppliers.
• Built strong relationships with major suppliers like cement, quarries, Mercedes Benz,
Man, Liebherr, Putzmeister, Schwing manufacturers.
• Ensured safe workplace, and provided health insurance, comprehensive insurance for all
machineries, and employees’ incentives.
• Monitor and assess competitors’ activities, and oversee market analytics.

inducements helping to improve the mortgage systems to the Palestinians though

major banks, and other foreign donors. The model included estimation costs of
construction, registered lands availability, equity and financial issues, mortgage system,
marketing, management of the project, availability of donors, possible restrictions and
risks such as negotiating with the Israeli Authority to give permit to construct access road
to link the project to Ramallah City, and private sector involvement.

Reporting to the Project Manager, manage multiple responsibilities including client relations,
project coordination, contract administration, estimating, project scope, technical evaluations,
vendor consultation and design.
• Liaise and communicate between client and company.
• Consulted with clients on technical specifications, design, costing, estimates, project
scope, engineering modifications and scheduling for projects.
• Compiled, prepared and presented detailed work scopes (i.e. estimates, scheduling,
materials, and labor) to the Engineering Group for final approval and submission.
• Estimated, prepared, consulted with legal department and submit contract details for
each project.
• Coordinated and consulted with client, engineering team, and federal agencies on
technical evaluations and code compliance.
• Collaborated with the engineering team on production and development of
conceptual designs, engineering drafts, and ‘as built’ drawings utilizing AUTOCAD.
