Project : Point of Sale Reinvention : FedEx point of sale system is touch screen based on 3-Tier architecture with Backend, Middleware server, Client, backend comprises of Oracle based Data-Base servers and main frames, Middleware Servers run Corba based architecture that acts as a bridge between legacy systems and the Client application. Corba services perform data-translation; transformation and data transfer between the participating systems, and Client is a GUI Intense Java based application that performs numerous functions from access authentication to package shipping, tracking as well as creating new customer accounts, POS client is a Hybrid of Object Oriented and Structured programming mix that deploys java and java swing components. POS application performs a wide variety of functions from Front End Retail counter (FedEx Office and Express) operations to back office functionality.

Guide Test teams on Master Test Plan creation comprising of test strategies, test schedule, defect management process, entry-exit criteria, and external entity test, decouple plan and key project details in accordance to business requirements. Argus Safety is a complete pharmacovigilance software system designed to solve the pharmaceutical industry's toughest regulatory challenges. Argus Safety provides the most comprehensive global adverse events (AE) case data management and regulatory reporting in the pharmaceutical industry. Argus Safety complies with all major regulatory reporting guidelines, including the European Medicines Agency (EMEA), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA). Argus Safety's proactive approach to monitoring global guidance ensures consistent regulatory compliance. It is fully ICH: E2B compliant and integration with Oracle Argus Interchange enables companies to electronically exchange information with partners and regulators. The scope of the project includes ensuring that application is working as expected, supports all business functionalities such as E2B Intake Data Entry, Data Review, and Medical Evaluation, Reporting Decisions and AER Reporting or submission. Argus Safety Application a web based application that extends the functionality of Argus Safety from adverse event collection and reporting to a complete, integrated solution for pharmacovigilance and risk management. It used C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and Oracle as backend database.

ESA-REMS: Erythropoietin Stimulating Agent -Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy.

ESA REMS Internal Reporting Solution will inform internal stakeholders on the status of enrollment in the ESA APPRISE Oncology Program. The solution includes an ETL tool for data consumption, data-flux to perform quality-checks, a database for housing the information, and a reporting tool to generate reports. The system will accept data feeds from a call center, consume the data and provide reports for monitoring and potentially for submissions to FDA.

The purpose of the ESA APPRISE Oncology Program is to promote informed decisions between HCPs and patients with cancer who are considering treatment with ESAs. Amgen is co-representing the ESA class with Ensures that the testing verifies accuracy and thoroughness of the requirements and solution.

Project: Point of Sale: Point of Sale (POS) is a system designed specifically for front counter operations and equipment in World Service Centers (WSC) and FedEx.com stations. POS is a new system with the purpose of capturing the increasing number of cash-only accounts and invalid credit card transactions, which are not being caught by our current front counter operations. POS should, therefore, increase revenue to the company and eliminate the need to call customers after they have left the front counter to request another method of payment from them.

The POS system provides more efficient means of performing many of front counter functions, especially in Accepting and Releasing. The other functions are Track, Rate, Customer (Customer Account Look Up, Pay on Invoice, Account Information, Customer Account Number Setup and Print Tax Exempt Form), Utilities (View Log, Post Scans, Post REX, Reliable, Cash Management, Consolidation, Co-mail). It currently works with the tracker and COSMOS to help improve how we serve our customers in WSC and FedEx.com Stations
