The bank wanted to implement Automated bill Paying System, InstaPay. The aim
of the project was to implement a system for its customers to pay their bills
online. Some of the salient features of the system were managing payee
information, scheduling payments, determining estimated delivery dates etc.
The system also had generates a variety of reports regarding the history of
payments, payee information etc.
Responsibilities:
• Interacted closely with the client for gathering functional requirements.
• Facilitated JAD sessions, conducted interviews, Q & A sessions with
business users to solicit business requirements relative to proposed functionality
and created Functional and Non-functional requirements.
• Worked closely with the development team to clarify and understand

facilitate the users find the right insurance for their individual needs. The
application required the users to login with a valid user id and password to
authenticate the person. After authentication, they can learn about insurance,
get a quote, retrieve a quote or buy an online insurance policy. They can also
claim or pay their monthly payments online.
Responsibilities:
• Studied the inherent system to have a clear understanding of the business
processes and associated system workflow.
• Gathering business requirements and converting them into functional
requirement specifications and user requirement specifications.
• Conducted GAP analysis to understand new business model and additional
functionalities to be incorporated into new application.
